Who We are...
University of Rajshahi Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (RU-GEB) Association in North America (RUGEBANA) is a voluntary, non-political, non-profit-oriented community of alumni of the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Rajshahi. We bring together RU-GEB members living and working across North America (United states, and Canada) to uplift our RU-GEB community, preserve our shared heritage, and create opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Our mission is to unite the RU-GEB diaspora, strengthen our academic and professional network, support current and future students.
Our Objectives..
- Build a strong RU-GEB alumni network in North America, and support each other
- Organize reunions, get-together, cultural events, and community programs in every two years
- Provide mentorship and career guidance for prospective graduate students, post-docs and young professionals
- Provide initial establishment for incoming students and professionals
